    Early Career:

At age 10, Carpenter began posting singing covers on YouTube. In 2014, she was cast as Maya Hart in the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World, where she also recorded the theme song.
 

    Transition to Pop Music:

Carpenter signed with Island Records in 2021. Her fifth album, Emails I Can't Send (2022), included the singles "Nonsense" and "Feather".


    Recent Success:

Her sixth studio album, Short n' Sweet, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart in 2024. It featured her chart-topping singles "Espresso" and "Please Please Please," which won her two Grammy Awards in 2025.


    The Eras Tour:

Carpenter opened for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour from 2023 to 2024, performing in Latin America, Australia, and Singapore.
